Boarding School Food Pack: Ready-to-Eat Meals for Students
Ready-to-eat food stock for your child at boarding school. No fridge and no kitchen needed. Keep it in a locker and eat it when hunger hits during night prep.
Why a boarding school food pack helps
Dining hall meals run on a fixed schedule, but hunger often comes during night prep or at the weekend. The MakanHubb boarding school food pack is pasta, laksa and Malay dishes in retort pouches that keep at room temperature. The food is already cooked, so students can eat straight from the pack without a kitchen. Before packing, check the hostel rules on food in the dorm.
What is in the pack
The Balik Asrama Bundle Pack has 7 pasta and laksa meals plus 2 dish sets. Add White Rice to eat with the dishes, or buy Spaghetti Carbonara and Spaghetti Bolognese individually to top up.
Why it suits boarding school
No fridge needed
Keep it in a locker or under the bed at room temperature. Good for 1 to 2 years unopened.
No kitchen needed
Eat straight from the pack. If the hostel has hot water, soak the sealed pouch for a warm meal.
Easy to plan
One pouch is one meal, so parents can easily work out how much to pack for a week or a month.
How to organise the hostel stock
Start with one bundle for the first month, then see how quickly it runs out. Keep the pouches in a lidded plastic box in the locker so they stay tidy and do not get punctured. Write the purchase date on the box and use the oldest packs first. Pack a spoon and a few small rubbish bags too, so empty pouches are thrown away properly and the room stays clean. If your child comes home every month, top up the stock then.
