About MakanHubb
MakanHubb is a ready-to-eat food brand from Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. Cooked, packed and retort processed in our own premises.

Ready-to-eat food, made in-house from start to finish
MakanHubb is a ready-to-eat food brand under Duoreqa, a retort food manufacturer in Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. We cook pasta, laksa and Malaysian dishes, then retort process them so the food stays fresh, safe and long lasting without preservatives.
Every step happens on our own premises: choosing raw ingredients, storage, cooking, filling retort pouches, sealing, sterilising, through to storage and final packing.

The MakanHubb story began during the MCO
MakanHubb launched in 2021, during the Movement Control Order, with spaghetti in a portable pack you can eat straight away. Sales started on TikTok and Shopee.
The story of how we built our own retort kitchen was featured in Utusan Malaysia on 26 May 2025.
Today MakanHubb makes ready-to-eat pasta, laksa, dishes and sauces for customers across Malaysia, including hikers, pilgrims, boarding school students and busy families. We also open our retort kitchen to food entrepreneurs through our retort service.

The MakanHubb process: kitchen to pouch in 8 steps
